We get a lot of questions about our breeding practices. In these videos Jos Thoné explains his breeding practices and shares some important advice with the viewers.

Question: how long do the pairs stay locked-in together?
Answer: about 2-6 days depending on the pairs. We keep a constant eye on the pigeons when we pair them. If a couple doesn't like each other, we immediately change the hen instead of forcing them to pair. Since from experience we know that the youngsters probably won't be good anyway. After releasing the birds, make sure they don't go back into the wrong (or old/from last season) cage, in order to prevent severe fights between the cocks.
